Amazon's Prime Exclusive program is expanding. Amazon is adding the Alcatel A30 and Moto G5 Plus to its Prime Exclusive program. The Alcatel A30 is priced at $59.99 ($40 off), while the 2GB/32GB version of the Moto G5 Plus is $184.99 ($45 off) and the 4GB/64GB model is $239.99 ($60 off). All three phones are now available for pre-order. The Alcatel A30 will launch on April 19, while the Moto G5 Plus will be released on March 31. The Prime Exclusive program offers discounted smartphones to Amazon Prime subscribers. The phones feature personalized offers and ads on their lock screens and also include several preloaded Amazon apps. In exchange for having all of that Amazon in your face, you get a pretty significant discount on a new, unlocked Android smartphone.
The Moto G5 Plus includes specs like a 5.2-inch 1920×1080 display, 12-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras, an octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor, and a 3000mAh battery. There's also a microSD slot onboard, and Android 7.0 Nougat comes preloaded on the device. Meanwhile, the Alcatel A30 packs a 5-inch HD display, quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and a microSD slot. There's also an 8-megapixel camera on its rear, a 5-megapixel camera on its face, and Android 7.0 Nougat. The thought of having Amazon ads on your home screen may not sound super appealing, but if you're willing to deal with them, you can get a pretty solid discount on a new Android smartphone. The good news is that because the offers are personalized, these ads might actually show you some deals that you'll be interested in.
