| The Moto G5 Plus is facing a very serious issue on Verizon's VoLTE network. The device may not be able to call emergency services, which is a huge deal. There will be an update going out next week to fix this, but Verizon has a solution in the meantime. Turning off VoLTE will enable calling 911, though you'll lose the ability to use data and calling at the same time. Go to Settings > More > Wireless & networks > Cellular networks and disable Enhanced 4G LTE Mode. This should ensure your phone will function in emergencies. We hope the update will automatically enable VoLTE again, in case users forget to do so in a week. If you own the device, be sure to follow these instructions as soon as you can!
