The HTC U Ultra made it to Canada not so long ago, but if you haven't purchase it you might want to hold on for a while. Why? Well because HTC just reveal the launch date for its second flagship in 2017 and it's just around the corner. Remember the HTC U (Ocean) device that kept appearing in the rumour mill? Well according the company itself the phone will go live on May 16. HTC posted a video teaser of the phone on Twitter, while inviting users to "Squeeze for the Brilliant U" – probably an allusion to the phone's trademark feature, the touch side frame which will allegedly allow users to control various aspects of the phone through swipes and squeezes. Apart from the wonder frame, rumours and leaks suggest the phone will come with a 5.5-inch display with 2,560 x 1,440 resolution and a Snapdragon 835 chipset under the hood plus 64GB of expandable internal storage. In the photo department, the device will supposedly take advantage of a 12-megapixel main camera and a 16-megapixel front facing snapper. IP57 certification also seems to be in the cards, although it doesn't seem 3.5mm headphone jack will be. What do you think of the HTC U Ocean so far?
