Today, AT&T and LG announced a brand new "resilient" smartphone headed to the big blue network later this month. LG is calling it the X venture, and it's designed for the "on-the-go lifestyles" that so many people out there enjoy. To reach that goal, the smartphone features IP68 water and dust resistance. The rest of the specifications look like this: a 5.2-inch 1080p HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of built-in storage. There's a 16-megapixel camera on the back, with a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter on the other side. The battery measures in at 4100mAh and includes Quick Charge 2.0, and it will be running Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. It'll be available in black or brown when it launches at AT&T on May 26. The LG X venture also features a dedicated "QuickButton," which can be mapped to any app on the phone. LG is pre-loading a Outdoor Essentials app that features a compass, a barometer, water reports, exercise tracker, flashlight, and an activity counter. AT&T customers will be able to pick up the LG X Venture for as little as $11 per month. Android Match
