The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ have beautiful displays, but a red tint has plagued some owners since the S8′s launch. Samsung has confirmed the issue exists and announced it would be sending out software updates to alleviate the problem. That happened in South Korea already, and now T-Mobile customers in the United States can get the update, too. Today, T-Mobile confirmed that both the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will be updated with "improved color optimization and convenient color adjustment." For Galaxy S8 owners, the new software version is G950USQU1ADQE and it measures in at 141.89MB. Meanwhile, Galaxy S8+ owners will find the new version number is G955USQU1AQDE, and it measures in at 138.43MB.
The new software is rolling out now, so keep an eye out for it. If you don't get prompted to download it, you can check manually by heading into Settings –> System updates –> Download updates manually. You'll need to be connected to Wi-Fi to get the ball rolling.
