The Nokia 8, serving as HMD Global's and Nokia's flagship smartphone for 2017, received an update to Android 8.0 Oreo back in November following a brief public beta program in October. At the time, it was confirmed that other Nokia Android smartphones would join the beta program soon enough, and sure enough, the Nokia 6 is now part of the mix. Juho Sarvikas, HMD Global's Chief Product Officer, took to Twitter today to confirm the Nokia 6 is now part of the Android 8.0 Oreo beta test program. He notes that any would-be testers will be trying out the pre-release software in an effort to make sure that it's ready for the public launch in the near future, but there's no word on when that launch will take place. If you want to sign up and try out Android 8.0 Oreo on your Nokia 6, go through this link. If you have a Nokia 6, are you looking forward to the Android 8.0 Oreo update sometime in (probably) early 2018? Android Match
