With the 2018 Olympics taking place in Pyeongchang, South Korea soon, wireless carriers in the United States are offering promotions to help relieve some of the stress of traveling to the region. AT&T announced today that it will be offering its International Day Pass for its postpaid customers at no additional cost. So if you or anyone you know is traveling to South Korea to watch the games between February 1 and March 20, they will be able to use their data just like they would at home as well as access to unlimited calling to the United States and texting. The 2018 Paralympics are also taking place in South Korea this year, so if you're sticking around for that, the March 20 cut-off date for the promotion means you'll still be able to use your phone without worrying about it your usage. AT&T is following suit with Verizon, which already announced its own travel option for its postpaid customers, and T-Mobile, which revealed its own plans today. Android Match
