Earlier this month, HTC refreshed its Software Updates page with information on the HTC One (M7)'s Sense 6 upgrade, revealing that most models had officially entered the "Integration" stage of the upgrade process. Now HTC has updated the page, revealing that many devices are now even closer to getting the Sense 6 upgrade.
HTC recently refreshed its official Software Updates page to reveal that most One (M7) variants in the US and Canada are now in the "Certification" stage of their Sense 6 upgrade. Those include the AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, unlocked and developer models in the US, as well as the Bell, Rogers, SaskTel, Telus, Virgin Mobile and Wind versions in Canada. The Sense 6 upgrades for the Sprint and Verizon versions of the One max are also in "Certification."
As for the models that aren't quite as far long in the Sense 6 upgrade process? The T-Mobile One (M7) is still in the "Development" phase, while the AT&T One mini is in "Integration." The Rogers One mini in Canada is also still in its "Integration" phase.
HTC's software update process consists of 5 phases: Evaluation, Development, Integration, Certification, and Push to Customer. Now that most One (M7) variants are in the "Certification" stage of their Sense 6 upgrades, it means that the carriers are testing the new software to ensure that there aren't any major bugs before the push to users begins.
HTC previously said that the One (M7) would be updated to Sense 6 by the end of May. While we still don't have a more precise rollout date for any of these One devices, it's nice to see that HTC is continuing to keep us updated on the Sense 6 upgrades as they progress through the upgrade process.
