It has already been rumored that the Nexus 6 will be manufactured by LG and that it will be based on the G3, but Android Geeks is reporting that the Nexus 6 will sport a fingerprint scanner. Interestingly enough, we aren't expecting the G3 to sport one, so this is a little surprising. The word is that Google is already talking with several Asian fingerprint sensor suppliers.
How this fingerprint sensor would be implemented is a big question. Will it be on screen like the Galaxy S 5 or will it be more like Apple's Touch ID? That remains to be seen, but it's expected to be on the front of the device, unlike the HTC One Max.
We are still many months away from the Nexus 6 unveiling so we are likely to see more than a few juicy rumors start to circulate during the summer.
What do you guys think? Do you want to see a fingerprint sensor on the next Nexus?
