"Sprint beats all national carriers with unlimited data for $20/month." That's the headline Sprint is using for this announcement, but the wording "unlimited data" is quite a stretch. The plan does indeed offer unlimited data, but only 1GB of that will be LTE. The rest will be 2G data, which we all know sucks.
Though many carriers do this and have done this for years, it's still purposefully misleading for customers who don't read the fine print. If you see this deal, or any like it, remember to read the fine print and ignore it if you need significant amounts of data.
