The official Android Twitter account has announced the newest member of the Android One family. Meet the General Mobile GM6, which is designed with a 5-inch 720p HD display with 2.5D glass and plenty of other noteworthy features. That includes 3GB of RAM, a MediaTek MT6737T quad-core processor, and 32GB of built-in storage. The GM6 also supports microSD cards for expandable storage and offers both a 3000mAh battery, 4G LTE connectivity, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There's a fingerprint reader below the display, too. On the back of the GM6 is a 13-megapixel camera with a flash, HDR support, and phase detection autofocus. Meanwhile, on the front there's an 8-megapixel front-facing camera which also features a flash. The GM6 boasts Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, and it will be receiving regular software updates as part of the Android One program.
