Samsung Galaxy S8 pictured in the wild again

With Mobile World Congress winding down and the biggest announcements out of the way, many people are looking ahead to the end of March.

On the March 29, Samsung will officially unveil the Galaxy S8 (and the Galaxy S8+). Samsung has teased that its upcoming flagship phone will change the way we expect our smartphones to look by ditching the familiar bezel-heavy design.

Now, BGR has a new report outlining a few key features of the upcoming handset, which effectively confirm the specifications that we've heard rumored for quite some time. That includes a 12-megapixel camera on the back, a hardware button the side of the smartphone that's dedicated to the digital personal assistant, Bixby, and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom of the handset.

The other features confirmed in this new report are 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of built-in storage. The device will support a microSD card for expandable storage, there's an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, iris scanner, and a USB Type-C port for charging up the handset. There is indeed a rear fingerprint reader, too, just to the side of the camera.

The biggest part of the report are the new photographs of the Galaxy S8 out in the wild. We get a clear look at the front of the handset (just as we saw last night) with onscreen navigation buttons and the big Super AMOLED curved display.

The Galaxy S8 will be unveiled at the end of the month. Are you looking forward to making this your new daily driver?
