If you are the owner of an HTC U11 under Sprint's umbrella then today is a good day for you, as Android 8.0 Oreo is now rolling out. The update was confirmed by HTC's Vice President of Product Management, Mo Versi, on Twitter. On the 20th of January, Sprint gave HTC technical approval of Android 8.0 Oreo on the U11, which meant that the software update could be released to the public. That day is today, and Android 8.0 is now rolling out to U11 owners out in the wild. This is an over-the-air (OTA) update, so it should be rolling out in waves from this point on. If the U11 is your daily driver, keep an eye out for the new software, but don't be alarmed if it doesn't show up today. It should become available for your handset soon if it hasn't already landed. If you're using the U11, have you been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Android 8.0 Oreo? Android Match
