If you have a OnePlus 5 or a OnePlus 5T and are a part of the OxygenOS open beta, OnePlus has a new software update that looks like it's worth checking out. The software updates actually started rolling out earlier this week. With them, there is a variety of additions to the mix as well as improvements to the system, apps, gaming mode, and more. One of the new additions is the addition of a portrait mode feature available for the front-facing camera in both handsets. That means you can start blurring the background of pictures taken with the front camera, adding that bokeh effect as you see fit. The notes app is also seeing a "new OxygenOS UI" and the weather app is getting hourly updates along with overall improved data accuracy. The new Gaming mode has a call suspension notification, optimizations for UI and interactions, and a new text notification mode. You can check out the full changelog from OnePlus through the source link below. OnePlus does make sure to note that this is beta software, and there may be some issues along the way, so don't expect the most stable experience while trying it out. Android Match
