Easily one of the most successful Kickstarter campaigns of all time, the Pebble is one of the first attempts at a truly mainstream smartwatch. Sure, it wasn't the first smartwatch by any means, but it was one of the first times we had seen so much excitement generated over the wearable market.
Fast forwarding to today, the Pebble's design — both aesthetically and when it comes to the UI — seems a little behind the times to say the least. So what possible reasons would you have to choose this watch over the competition? First, it's compatible with a wide range of Android and iOS devices. Second, it has considerably better battery life than Android Wear watches and its other competitors. And lastly, it's considerably cheaper, especially if you pick it up right now from Best Buy.
For likely a limited time, Best Buy is selling the Pebble for just $99.99, with free shipping. Not a bad price by any means, and much less than the current lowest priced Android Wear device, the $199.99 Samsung Gear Live.
What do you think, anyone planning on picking this one up now that it is at its cheapest price yet?
