There's a funny little tussle brewing between two of the major Chinese smartphone manufacturers. ZTE recently took to Chinese microblogging site Weibo to accuse Huawei of "borrowing" one of their designs! According to ZTE, the recently unveiled Huawei Nexus 6P copied the design of ZTE's Grand S, a device that launched back in 2013.
Now there are definitely some similarities between the two, mainly the black bar at the top of the device, but beyond that they're both pretty standard slates. Plus, devices like the Motorola RAZR (the smartphone, not that beautiful flip phone that one the world over) utilized a black bar at the top as well and that phone launched back in 2011!
To my knowledge, Huawei hasn't responded to ZTE's accusations but it'll be interesting to see what they have to say if/when the respond to them.
What do you guys think? Does ZTE have a case here? The Google translate is also pretty ridiculous so have a read of that below.
