Now let's break that all down for you a little bit. As mentioned, this device was designed for media and basically all of its features point in that direction. Beginning with the secondary screen, LG notes that in addition to enhancing the multitasking abilities, the second screen also keeps notifications off your main screen. So whether you're watching a movie or playing a game, new notifications won't disrupt your media consumption.
If media creation is your thing, the V10 has got you covered on that end as well. The front of the device sports two 5MP cameras for all your selfies and "groufies" (yup, apparently that's a thing now). A single lens can capture 80o while the two lenses can also work in unison to expand that to 120o. LG uses a "sophisticated software algorithm" that stitches the two images into one seamless shot.
Video creation is also a major feature on the V10 as LG has added manual video mode to the device. In this mode, you are able to adjust several things such as shutter speed, frame rate, ISO, white balance and focus! Several other software features have been implemented into the video mode such as Steady Record, Snap Video, Audio Monitor, and Wind Noise Filter. A trio of microphones help in isolating the correct audio in those last two features.
Now we don't have too many details regarding pricing and availability to share at this time. LG did state that the device would begin its launch in Korea, the USA and China with other countries to follow. Canada was not specifically mentioned so we'll keep an eye on any developments in that regard.
