The LG-branded G4 and V10 aren't the newest handsets on the block, but neither are very old, either. The good news is LG has announced to owners out there that Android 7.0 Nougat updates are indeed planned for both handsets. However, while the Life's Good crew is comfortable announcing a general timeframe, they aren't circling any specific dates on the calendar just yet. The LG G4 will receive its Android 7.0 update sometime in the third quarter of this year, while the LG V10 will see its own update to Android 7.0 in South Korea sometime in the second quarter of this year. Any details beyond that remain a mystery. If you own either one of these handsets and you don't plan on upgrading to their successors, it's good to know new software is heading down the pipe.
