The infamous Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was the center of a global controversy on exploding phones. Sure, lots of phones have exploded once or twice, it's always a tiny possibility. But the Note 7 was found to have a serious battery flaw that would cause a far higher risk of fire than other devices. Samsung went through a giant recall, taking back every single Note 7 it could, and worked hard to repair its damaged reputation. It's been almost a year since the Note 7 has released, but Samsung is finally bringing it back. We've heard about a refurbished Note 7 hitting the market before, and now a report from the Wall Street Journal says that the Galaxy Note 7 Fandom Edition will be released on July 7. The device will initially be released in South Korea, with inventory expected to be 400,000 units at most. It will be under 700,000 South Korean won, or $614 USD. Releases in other countries is expected but not yet announced. It's hard to justify picking up the Note 7 FE right now considering the Galaxy Note 8 is just around the corner. Plus, I'm sure the stigma over the Note 7 will stick around despite the issue being fixed. Hopefully. However, if anyone wants to pick one up, it will soon be available.
