Sony is not the only Android OEM that launched a new flagship during IFA 2017 in Berlin today. LG too unveiled the highly anticipated V30 flagship which packs a lot of nifty features in a sleek glass/metal package. The V30 is the first smartphone from LG's V-family to come sans the secondary ticker display gimmick. Instead, the newcomer replaces it with a software version called Floating Bar. LG is launching the handset as a great tool for audio and video enthusiasts from across the world. To that end, the company has equipped the phone with features such as Cine Video which allows users to add filters to videos and photos to get a more professional look. The phone will be launched in Aurora Black, Cloud Silver, Moroccan Blue, and Lavender Violet, but so far we don't know the exact details about pricing and availability. While we wait on that, here's what you can expect from the LG V30: LG V30• 6-inch OLED display with 1440 x 2880 resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio • Snapdragon 835 • 4GB of RAM • 64GB of internal storage (microSD card slot) • Primary dual 16-megapixel (f/1.6, laser and phase detection autofocus) + 13-megapixel (f/1.9) • Secondary 5-megapixel camera with f/2.2 • 151.7 x 75.4 x 7.4 mm • 158g • IP68 certified • 3,300 mAh battery • 3.5mm headphone jack • Bluetooth 5.0 • NFC • Hi-Fi DAC • Pair B&O Play earphones out of the box • Android 7.1.2 Nougat • Aurora Black, Cloud Silver, Moroccan Blue and Lavender Violet [LG] The post LG Unveils the Sleek and Powerful V30 appeared first on Android in Canada Blog.
