We talked about Samsung's new wearable, the Gear Fit2 Pro which is supposed to launch during the IFA 2017 trade show in Berlin. But according to the company's head of mobile division DJ Koh we should expect to see a new smartwatch product during the event too. This is not an unexpected piece of news, given that Samsung launched the Gear S3, as well as the Gear S2 during the same event which is hosted annually in Germany's capital. So can we expect to see the Gear S4 smartwatch make a debut next week? It seems so at this point. Not much is known about the alleged Gear S4, but as soon as we find out more information about the device, we'll let you know. Furthermore, based on an accidental leak from yesterday, Samsung might also introduce the Gear Sport hybrid smartwatch alongside the Gear Fit2 Pro and new S smartwatch. The device revealed on a couple of Samsung's regional websites appears to be running a new version of Tizen (3.0) and boast water resistance protection of 5 ATM (it can survive being submerged in up to 50 meters of water) which means you can take it swimming. In the meanwhile, don't forget to save the date and tune in at IFA, as the trade show is scheduled to being on September 1st.
