| Now that Android 8.0 Oreo has been announced, everyone is wondering when they will get the update. Sony has announced the Xperia devices that will get an Oreo upgrade in the future. The Xperia X, Xperia X Performance, Xperia XZ, Xperia X Compact, Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XZs, Xperia XA1, Xperia XA1 Ultra, Xperia Touch and Xperia XA1 Plus. The Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact will both launch with Oreo on board. Unfortunately, there are no timelines given for these Android 8.0 updates. We have no idea when devices will start receiving the OTA, but if it's anything like HTC's plans, we hope that at least a few devices will get the Oreo update this year.
