One of the perceived benefits with an unlimited plan is not worrying about how much data you use. But if you find you don't use a lot of data every month, U.S. Cellular has a pretty interesting offer to make paying for unlimited data a bit easier. The fifth-largest carrier in the United States has just announced its newest offering, Unlimited with Payback. If you sign up for this new plan, which requires credit approval as well as turning on autopay and paperless billing, you can earn back up to $10 per line. How it works is pretty straightforward: If you use less than 3GB of data per month, you'll get $10 credited to your account. That payback perk appears to be per line, too, so a family of four can save up to $40 per month on their bill if they keep their data usage down. The new unlimited plan with payback is available now from U.S. Cellular, which is technically still a regional carrier. If this plan sounds good to you, you'll have to make sure that U.S. Cellular offers up service in your neck of the woods before you make the decision to switch from another carrier. What do you think of this idea? We saw T-Mobile do something similar to this before ending the program earlier this year. Maybe the other major wireless carriers will catch on, too. Android Match
