Today Verizon began offering the ASUS ZenFone AR in its online store, and now GSM folks can get one of their own. Amazon is now selling a GSM unlocked version of the ASUS ZenFone AR. The model with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage is $599, and it's in stock and ready to ship right now. If you'd prefer a beefier smartphone, you can get a version of the ASUS ZenFone AR with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage from Amazon, too. That model will set you back a cool $699 and will ship in two to four weeks. This unlocked version of the ASUS ZenFone AR is compatible with GSM networks like AT&T, T-Mobile, and their MVNOs in the U.S. Amazon says that it doesn't support CDMA networks like Verizon, Sprint, and U.S. Cellular. As a reminder, the ASUS ZenFone AR is compatible with both Google's Tango AR and Daydream VR platforms. It's packing a 5.7-inch 2560×1440 AMOLED display, 23-megapixel rear camera, Snapdragon 821 processor, microSD slot, and 3300mAh battery.
