Telus this week announced Visual Voicemail is coming to its Google Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus 5X o Nexus 6P. But it also noted, that more capable devices are coming, probably referring to the next-gen Pixel 2 announcement next week. What is Visual Voicemail? To make it clear, it doesn't mean your voice messages will now be accompanied by a video, but that you'll be able to check and manage your voicemails easier by reviewing them in a list on your Android phone. You'll be able to choose which voice message you want to listen to – without having to listen to the annoying instructions or prior messages. You will also be able to rewind. To add this feature to your eligible device, log in with your Telus account. Also, make sure your device has been updated to the latest Android version – which is Android 8.0 Oreo. Note that you have to pay for the feature. Adding the visual voicemail add-on at Telus will cost you $5/month and allows you to simultaneously store up to 25 messages. Visual voicemail is a feature which has been available ever since Android 6.0 Marshmallow in 2015. Ever since Telus customers have been avidly requested the feature. Two years later, the carrier finally complied. [Telus] The post Telus Now Offers Visual Voicemail for Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P appeared first on Android in Canada Blog. Android Match
