The Echo Dot Kids Edition features the same puck-like design of the regular Echo Dot, but it's got a colorful case to help protect it. It also comes with a two-year worry-free guarantee that says that if your kids break the Echo Dot Kids Edition, you can return it and get a new one for free. Amazon also includes one year of FreeTime Unlimited with the Echo Dot Kids Edition. This service includes access to more than 13,000 kid-friendly books, educational apps, games, movies, and TV shows. Parents can use the online Parent Dashboard to review their kids activity with the Echo Dot, set daily time limits, and filter explicit songs from Amazon Music. Parents will be relieved to hear that voice shopping is disabled with the Echo Dot Kids Edition, and Alexa even provides positive feedback when kids ask questions and use the word "please".
