Google Clips now on sale for $249

Google introduced its Clips stand-alone camera Clips back in October of last year. The device uses machine learning and more to snap motion photos all on its own, letting you set Clips down and have it handle the hard work of capturing memorable moments.

In January, Clips actually went up for sale for a very brief point of time, but the camera went back to a waitlist soon after. Google appears ready to open up the floodgates again, as the company is now listing Google Clips as being available to buy again. You'll need to fork over $249 to get one for yourself.

Google Clips, thanks to machine learning, will learn faces and pets in its effort to snap motion photos, which do not feature audio but last for several seconds. The Clips camera features a three-hour battery life and 16GB of built-in storage. It even features something called "lens occlusion detection" so that when the lens is blocked by something, you'll get a notification on your phone letting you know.

You don't need an internet connection to use Google Clips.

Google is offering a bundle, too, with the Clips camera, the Clips stand, and the Incipio Mount Case, which will add an additional $14.99 to your $249.00 base price.

Are you planning on picking up Google Clips?
