BlackBerry teasing the Mercury for Mobile World Congress
We've already seen the BlackBerry Mercury at CES 2017. The device has a touch-sensitive physical keyboard underneath a large display, a USB Type-C port, a fingerprint reader in the spacebar, and Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
The Mercury name isn't final and none of the specs were finalized for CES. But now the company is teasing the Mercury on Twitter for its official launch at Mobile World Congress on February 25.
The device will be made by TCL, who also makes Alcatel devices, but it'll have that BlackBerry DNA some people still love. We hope to see the company succeed because BlackBerry still seems to know how to make a great phone.
