Another day another Galaxy S8 report emerges shedding more light on the upcoming Samsung super beast. This time it was The Guardian which has published a lengthy report on upcoming features of the Galaxy S8 citing several sources familiar with the matter. First off we're told the two Galaxy S8 phone will come boasting so-called "infinity" displays. Which is just a manner of saying the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will have extremely thin bezels, especially on top and bottom. The Korean tech giant has made them so skinny that even the Samsung logo had to be dropped from the front of the device. The report also reveals the Galaxy S8 will have a 64GB version with microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 256GB. The phone will also have an USB Type-C port and despite contradicting reports, a 3.5mm headphone jack. It will also support a new version of the Samsung Gear VR and Gear 360 camera. An interesting tidbit we haven't heard before is that Samsung plans to allow users to turn the Galaxy S8 into an Android desktop computer. The company will achieve this end via the so-called DeX, a desktop extension similar to Microsoft's Continuum which will enable Galaxy S8 owners to connect the phone to a monitor, keyboard and other peripherals. The Galaxy S8 seems to be getting more and more exciting with each passing day.
