Netflix Now Allows Saving Offline Content to microSD Cards

A few months ago, Netflix announced a feature we've all been craving for – offline viewing capabilities. However, soon some Android users noticed a shortcoming.

Downloading movies for offline viewing was possible only if you had native storage available on your phone or tablet. But the good news is that this week Netflix has finally introduced support for saving downloading content to the SD card slot.

All you need to do to take advantage of the new feature is go to App Settings in your Netflix app and look for the "Download Location" option. There you should spot the SD card option. The update is currently live, but you'll need to download the latest Netflix version or update your current app.

The app now allows you to easily switch between internal and external storage to specify where you want your Netflix TV shows and movies to be at. However, keep in mind that content on the card will only be available for laying on the device it was originally downloaded with.

Not every single title will be available for download for offline viewing, but Netflix will soon add more content in the near future.
