Pokémon Go had an annoying tendency to pause your music when you launch the app. You'd have to bring down the notification shade, which is hidden on the splash screen, and resume your music. Many months after the game was released (and many months after its peak in popularity), this issue has been partially fixed. The newest version of the Pokémon Go app will no longer pause your music, opting to just reduce the volume. While this isn't ideal for many (I know a lot of people keep the app's sound off entirely), it's a big improvement. For those of you still playing, hit the Play Store and download the latest version. It'll also speed up load times on Android devices and fix some minor bugs. Android Match
