Archos Citee Connect is an Android-powered scooter with a 5-inch display

Many phones out there are still waiting for their update to Android 8.0 Oreo, but one company can safely say that their Android-powered scooter has it.

Archos, a company based out of France, has just debuted the Citee Connect, an Android-powered scooter. It is equipped with a 5-inch display which the company has dubbed a "multimedia dashboard" and features all of the elements you'd expect to find in a smartphone.

As far as the specs are concerned, that dashboard boasts a quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of built-in storage. It even offers 3G support. It's worth noting that Archos doesn't explicitly say what a Citee Connect owner can do with that multimedia dashboard, but Google Maps is shown in the promotional materials.

The scooter itself is made from aluminum and has a pair of puncture-proof 8.5-inch wheels. The battery measures in at 36W and there is a 250W motor. It weighs in at about 26 pounds and can hold up to 220 pounds. Archos says the Citee Connect can travel "over 25 kilometers in urban areas", and that the speed can max out at 25 km/h. And, finally, the scooter will launch sometime this summer and cost €499.99.

So, here we are with an Android-powered scooter. What do you think?
