BlackBerry Mercury with physical keyboard displayed at CES

TCL has been teasing the upcoming arrival of another BlackBerry with a physical keyboard, and today the device has been revealed.

The new BlackBerry is being officially shown off by TCL. Known by the codename "Mercury" for now, it looks like a traditional BlackBerry handset with a candybar design and physical keyboard.

Interestingly enough, the physical keyboard features a fingerprint reader in the space bar and capacitive touch controls for users to scroll through content.

TCL also revealed that the handset will boast a USB Type-C port and that it will run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Unfortunately, TCL didn't share any additional details regarding specifications, but it says that more information should be revealed around the time that Mobile World Congress rolls around next month.

What do you think? Are you in the market for a new BlackBerry device with a physical keyboard?
