Honor has announced the latest device in its lineup. The Honor 6X is a budget device meant to reside under the mid-range Honor 8. Despite the budget price of $249.99 for the base model, it packs some pretty impressive specs. It features a 5.5-inch full HD display, 3GB of RAM, an octa-core Kirin 655 processor, 32GB of memory with a microSD slot, a 12MP camera with a secondary 2MP sensor, an 8MP front-facing camera, a 3340mAh battery, a fingerprint sensor, and Android 6.0 with EMUI 4.1 on top. With a metal body and Huawei's fast fingerprint sensor, the Honor 6X looks like a high-end device. The hardware inside is quite good for the price as well, with the processor being the weakest link. And with a beefy battery and lower end specs, the battery life is absolutely fantastic and can last two days. The US will be getting the 3GB/32GB model while there will be a 4GB/64GB model available in some markets. The device will be released tomorrow, January 4, and there will be flash sales in the US to grab the device for $199.99. It's definitely an impressive device at a low price.
