LG G6 will get away from modular design

One of the major bullet points for the G5 last year was its modular design, which LG was obviously proud of back then.

But here we are in 2017, and the Life's Good crew has decided that while modularity may have seemed like a good idea at the time, it's not what the customers want. As a result, an LG spokesperson has confirmed to The Wall Street Journal that the company's next flagship, the G6, won't feature a modular design.

Instead, LG says that it will be focusing on aesthetics and usability, and teased that the handset will launch "in the very near future." Apparently the company is still trying to nail down a final release date, but did suggest that the handset's initial debut could very well arrive at Mobile World Congress, which starts at the end of February.

The G6 appears to be right around the corner, so what are you hoping to see from LG this year?
