Remember HTCs' One X9 affordable but powerful mid-ranger? The device was unveiled in January 2016, so it's only naturally that HTC is prepping a successor slated for prime-time come next month. According to Chinese website MyDrivers, the successor of the HTC One X9 is going to be be called the HTC X10. The phone will make a debut on the market with a 5.5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution, just like its predecessor. Expect the X10 to retrieve its computing power from an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 SoC in combination with 3GB of RAM. We're also told the phone will feature a 13MP main camera with OIS (optical image stabilization). We're not told yet, but most likely the phone will lunch with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. It seems the X10 is going to be a worthy middle-ranger just like the One X9 before it. The One X9 came equipped with 32GB of internal storage out of the box and a microSD cardslot which allowed for memory expansion up to 256GB. Although the current HTC X10 leak doesn't mention it, we hope the phone will feature similar storage options. We're most likely to see HTC unveil the mid-ranger during the CES 2017 conference, due to start in Las Vegas on January 5.
