HTC is not going all that great when it comes to smartphones. Actually, one analyst predicted the company might restrain itself from launching another flagship in the US market. However, a new rumour that popped up today indicates that HTC will soon be flooding the market with 3 new smartphones. The devices will be released in the course of the three months making up Q1. According to AndroidHeadlines, HTC is gearing up to unveil a hot new device during the company's upcoming January 12 "U" event, which will most likely be the middle-range X10 model – powerful yet affordable device. The Taiwanese company also plans to unveil the so-called Ocean Note handset in Q1. It's not the first time we've heard of the device. A while back, the rumour mill revealed HTC is working on a trio of Ocean smartphones – the Ocean Master, Ocean Note and Ocean Smart – devices expected to sport a sleek body and come without a home button. Following the Galaxy Note7 demise, it seems HTC might be looking to fill in the void with a Note of its own. It would be interesting to see a stylus touting phablet coming out of the company. But this is only wishful thinking for now. The third Ocean is probably the HTC 11 flagship (the successor of the HTC 10), which could come last to close the cycle.
