Samsung Galaxy Note8 to Feature Bixby Virtual Assistant, 4K Display: Report

As we walk into 2017 the first rumours about the Samsung Galaxy Note8 have already started emerging. After the grand Note7 fiasco, some concerns were raised whether Samsung might kill the entire Note family.

Well if you got worried there for a second, you should know a recent rumour coming out of Business Korea claims the Galaxy Note line of products will continue on with a new iteration coming this year.

According to the information at hand, the Galaxy Note8 will come equipped with the same virtual assistant (Bixby) which is expected to make a debut on the next-gen Galaxy S8 in a few months.

On top of that, we're also told the Galaxy Note8 mark a first for Samsung – it will come featuring a UHD or 4K resolution display which should deliver an advanced Virtual Reality experience.

The Galaxy Note8 won't be the first 4K smartphone to ever make an appearance on the market. Back in 2015, Sony launched the Xperia Z5 Premium handset, but the phone didn't prove to be that popular. But maybe Samsung can pull off a 4K smartphone instead.

Last but not least, the report mentions Samsung won't release another flagship until it announces the results of the Galaxy Note7 investigation, which should happen sometime later this month.
