BLU is primarily known for aggressively priced smartphones, but now the company is getting into the smartwatch game, too. The BLU X Link is now available from Amazon. Like BLU's smartphones, the X Link smartwatch is aggressively priced compared to most other smartwatches on the market.
BLU has equipped the X Link with a 1.1-inch round IPS display and activity tracking features like a dynamic heart rate sensor, pedometer, and sleep monitor. The body of the BLU X Link is IP54 rated for dust and water resistance to stand up to your workouts, and BLU also offers its own fitness app Another notable feature of the BLU X Link is its built-in cellular connectivity, which allows you to send and receive calls and texts from your wrist. The cellular connectivity is 2G GSM-only, meaning that it'll only work on T-Mobile in the U.S.
Rounding out the BLU X Link's feature set is Bluetooth 4.0, Android and iOS support, and a 320mAh battery that BLU says can be fully recharged in an hour and a half. One other thing to note is that this watch does not run Wear OS While the BLU X Link may not be as high-end as some other smartwatches on the market, but for its low price, it could be a good option for anyone looking to try a smartwatch for the first time.
