| It has been over a year since Pandora, one of the largest music streaming platforms out there, launched its Pandora Premium subscription option. The service is competitively priced to the major competitors out there, Spotify and Apple Music, but it was missing one potentially crucial element: a family plan. This lets a collection of users get the subscription benefits for one relatively low monthly cost, which is perfect for families that want the premium features but don't want to pay for individual accounts. That is finally changing today, as Pandora has confirmed a new Premium Family feature which is priced at $15 per month. That's right in line with the competition, and it comes with all of the family plan features. Pandora Premium Family supports six individuals under the same account, and they each get their own accounts. They will have their own custom radio stations, the ability to download music for offline listening, and uninterrupted music streaming. Pandora has 80 million monthly listeners on its free tier, and it obviously wants a lot of those free listeners to switch over to the premium subscription option.
