Honeywell replaces the Lyric app with Home, introduces paid Membership plans for its security cameras

Honeywell, a brand that's well known for its thermostats, also builds some smart and connected products. Previously, these were all controlled by the Honeywell Lyr ic app, but now that's being rebranded to Honeywell Home with plenty of under-the-hood and visual/functional changes. The company is also introducing new paid plans for its security cameras. First, the Honeywell Home app will be a simple update over the previous Lyric app. It's built from scratch for better performance and stability, and it includes a new dashboard to view all of your devices, a motion and sound timeline to check all events in one place, better geofencing, and an overhauled interface to control your Honeywell thermostats, security cameras, water leak sensors, and the upcoming Smart Home Security system.
