AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 8 now receiving Android 8.0

Samsung has been working to get Android 8.0 Oreo out to its devices recently, with AT&T updating its Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ earlier this week. Now it's time for the big blue carrier's version of the Galaxy Note 8 to get Oreo as well.

As confirmed by folks over on Reddit, Android Oreo is now officially rolling out to AT&T Galaxy Note 8 handsets. The size of the update is pretty big at 1.4GB, so you'll want to make sure you're connected to a Wi-Fi network before you start the download. The software build number is N950USQU3CRC2.

The update is an over-the-air (OTA) upgrade, so it will be rolling out in stages. If you want to try and ping the update directly, head into Settings –> Software Update and see if you can pull it down directly. The new software also includes the March Android security update as well, as noted by other Redditors.

If you have a Galaxy Note 8 for AT&T, let us know when you get the Android 8.0 Oreo update on your device!
