Google Maps now supports 39 new languages

Today the Google Maps team announced that its app, which launched 14 years ago, is now used by more than one billion people across the globe. Which means the service needs to support a lot of different languages. That's why Google Maps now knows 39 new ones.

In the public blog post, Google confirmed that it is adding support for new languages which are spoken by 1.25 billion people across the globe. Some of the new additions include Zulu, Latvian, Filipino, Mongolian, Swedish, and Finnish.
