Nokia 6.1 launching in the U.S. with Android One and unibody aluminum design

A new Android One phone is launching in the U.S.

The Nokia 6.1 has arrived stateside, hitting the shelves at Amazon and Best Buy. This device runs Android One, which means that it's got pure Android and will get regular software updates, including security patches.

When it comes to hardware, the Nokia 6.1 features a 5.5-inch 1920×1080 display, 16MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, a rear fingerprint reader, and a USB-C port. Inside its unibody aluminum shell is an octa-core Snapdragon 630 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 3000mAh battery. There's 32GB of storage in there, too, along with a microSd card slot in case 32GB isn't enough for you.

If you're in the market for an affordable new smartphone, the Nokia 6.1 is worth a look. Not only does it have a pretty nice feature set for its price, it's got a premium metal body that should feel nice in the hand. Plus, the fact that it runs Android One means that you'll get regular software updates and avoid bloatware at the same time.
