| Xiaomi has a variety of smart products on the market, and the company has announced it is aiming to make them even smarter with a little help from Google Assistant. Xiaomi has confirmed that some of its smart home products now work with Google Assistant, which means you will be able to control those devices through another product that supports Google Assistant. So if you want to turn on the Xiaomi Mi Bedside Lamp, you can ask Google Assistant through the Google Home to turn it on. You can use the Google Assistant app to control the smart devices as well. Xiaomi says that the supported smart products include the aforementioned bedside lamp, the Mi LED Smart Bulb, and the Mi Smart Plug. The latter of the bunch is the accessory that can turn ordinary products into interconnected smart devices, letting owners switch an ordinary device on or off with just a basic voice command.
