NVIDIA updating SHIELD Tablet and Tablet K1 with January security patch

NVIDIA is pushing an update to both the SHIELD Tablet and the SHIELD Tablet K1 that contains the January 2018 security update as well as a fix for the Spectre vulnerability. It's a small update. It's not the latest security patch. It's not Oreo. Why is this noteworthy? Because the SHIELD Tablet K1 is almost two and a half years old, and the SHIELD Tablet is just a few months shy of four years old. Yet NVIDIA is pushing a security update to the devices.
