AT&T begins BOGO promo on select smartphones

AT&T has started a limited time buy one, get one free promo on three flagship smartphones. The phones included are the iPhone 7 (and Plus model), LG G5, and Samsung Galaxy S7, and users will receive monthly bill credits for the free device. To take advantage of the promo, users must purchase both devices on AT&T Next or AT&T Next Every Year. An additional caveat is that both devices must be from the same manufacturer e.g. two iPhones, two Galaxy S7s, etc. This promo is AT&T's first BOGO of the year, but it likely won't be the last. Wireless competition continues to heat up, with drastic changes such as Verizon bringing back unlimited data to remain competitive. AT&T is also offering new customers $650 in credits when they switch, with the amount after switching fees going towards a new device on AT&T.
