After announcing its latest flagship smartphones, Huawei is making good on its promises and announcing its latest smartwatch. The Huawei Watch 2 and Huawei Watch 2 Classic are now officially official. They two variants share plenty of commonalities: a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, 4GB of built-in storage, batteries measuring in at 420mAh, IP68-rated water and dust-resistance, and 768MB of RAM. Finally, both watches also support GPS, NFC, and a heart rate sensor. As expected, the Watch 2 will offer built-in 4G LTE connectivity. Both watches will be running Android Wear 2.0 on 1.2-inch round displays. Huawei confirmed that both the Watch 2 and Watch 2 Classic will launch in March in China, Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, and Italy in March of this year, starting at €329 ($347 USD). The watches will launch in Australia, Russia, the United States, and the United Kingdom in April of this year. One last thing: Huawei also announced a Porsche Design variant of the Huawei Watch 2, but only revealed an image of the upcoming wearable. Pricing and a release date weren't announced.
