The latest addition to Google Home will let you get your shopping done using just your voice and the smart speaker. Google is officially adding support for shopping to Home. Beginning today, Google Home owners will be able to ask Google Assistant to buy something, and it will handle the process and order the product from a selection of more than 50 different retailers that support Google Express. Some of the bigger names include PetSmart, Walgreens, and Costco. To set up your information, you'll need to head into the Google Home app, select "More settings," and then find "Payments." Once there, you'll be able to enter your credit card info as well as your delivery address. Once that is set up, you'll be able to say "Ok Google, how do I shop?" or simply start ordering things by saying something like "Ok Google, order paper towels." Google adds that, through the end of April, Google Home shoppers can avoid membership fees and additional service fees. This would put the Google Home closer to parity with the Amazon Echo, which lets owners shop through Amazon.com with the smart speaker. Android Match
