Uber Is Finally Available on Android Wear 2.0 Smartwatches

Well, that took forever. I don't know if you remember, but back at Google's I/O 2015, the search giant announced Uber will be available on Android Wear soon. Then months and months passed and nothing happened. But finally this week, almost two years after the original announcement, Google has finally delivered what was promised. Still there's a catch. The app works only for owners of Android Wear 2.0-powered devices. So if your wearable did not get the update or never will, you won't be able to install the Uber app on your wrist. Like its smartphone counterpart, the wearable version of the app will allow users to request a pickup, check price and time estimates, see the drivers' location and soon.
